Investigations - After fire in Offenbach: Identity of one victim still unclear
Following the fire in a commercial and residential building in Offenbach's city center, the identity of one of the fatalities remains unclear. The cause of the fire has also not yet been clarified, a police spokesperson said on Thursday. Further information is expected to be available next week. The as yet unidentified person and a three-year-old died in the fire on Tuesday evening. The boy was taken out of the house by the emergency services and died shortly afterwards in hospital. The other victim was not recovered until the next day.

Despite the ongoing investigations, the identification of all victims in the Offenbach fire incident is yet to be confirmed by the Police. The determined efforts of the emergency services to put out the fires and rescue the children trapped inside were commendable. The tragic incident occurred in the heart of Hesse, a region with a rich historical and cultural background, including the city of Offenbach.
