Investigations - After falling from ski lift: technical defect ruled out
Just over a week after a seven-year-old fell from a ski lift in the Allgäu region, investigators have ruled out a technical defect as the cause. This was announced by the police on Tuesday. According to initial investigations, the chairlift bar did not close in the incident on the second Sunday in Advent. The boy slipped out of the lift and fell eight meters onto the slope. The mother had tried in vain to hold on to her child. The seven-year-old was flown to hospital by helicopter, but suffered only minor injuries. The police are now looking for witnesses.
