Music - After fall: Lotto King Karl cancels concerts

Musician Lotto King Karl (56, "Hamburg, meine Perle") has had to cancel numerous concerts after a serious fall. "I've rarely found a post so difficult. It happens to everyone and I've just broken something for the first time in my life. My right foot and then I broke it three times. A classic case of twisting it on foot in icy conditions," the singer wrote on Facebook, posting pictures from the hospital showing how his leg was fixed with metal tubes and wires.

"It will be months before I'm fit again," the singer told Bild newspaper. After the operation, he had to do long periods of physio and walk on crutches. He will therefore definitely have to cancel his next two concerts in Lübeck and Hanover. On Friday, the singer posted that he now also has coronavirus. "I don't have to tell you how I feel right now, do I? - Once everything please, because someone is still going in."
