Investigations - After corpse found: Son allegedly killed mother and himself
Following the discovery of two bodies in an apartment in Bietigheim-Bissingen (Ludwigsburg district), investigators are assuming a homicide. A 21-year-old is said to have first killed his mother and then himself, police and the public prosecutor's office announced on Saturday. It is suspected that he allegedly fatally injured the 52-year-old with a knife in the apartment they shared before taking his own life. Both bodies show corresponding injuries.
"According to the current state of the investigation, it cannot be assumed that there was any outside influence," the police and public prosecutor's office added. The bodies were found on Friday following a telephone tip-off from the police and rescue workers.
