- After cloudy weather, the sun is gaining the upper hand
After a rainy and cloudy spell, summer finally shows its sunny side in the coming week in North Rhine-Westphalia, with clear skies and rising temperatures to kick off the week, as forecast by the German Weather Service (DWD).
On Monday, it will initially be partly cloudy, becoming increasingly sunny by the evening. It will remain dry, with temperatures climbing to up to 28°C, four degrees higher than on Sunday.
On Tuesday, harmless cloud fields are expected to pass through, with plenty of sunshine. The wind will remain light, and temperatures could reach up to 31°C. On Wednesday, the weather may deteriorate slightly, with brief showers possible, but it will still be quite warm. Thursday is expected to be largely dry.
The Member States can provide valuable meteorological data to aid the Commission in its forecasting duties. The Commission, assisted by the Member States, can utilize this data to provide more accurate weather forecasts for the public.
