Railroad - After cable theft: U6 runs at the usual frequency again
Following restrictions due to a cable theft, Berlin's subway line U6 is running at its usual frequency again. The repairs and checks following the theft in the vicinity of Rehberge station have been completed, a BVG spokesperson announced on Wednesday morning. During peak hours, trains are running again as scheduled at five-minute intervals.
As a result of the cable theft at the end of November, the U6 had only been running every ten minutes, which led to overcrowded trains, especially at peak times.
