Operation in Karlsruhe - After being sent off - man bites the hand of a federal policeman

At Karlsruhe Main Station, a man bit a Federal Police officer. The 36-year-old had approached a 8-year-old student from a group and touched his shoulder, according to the Federal Police. The officers then issued him a warning. A short while later, the man reportedly tried to enter the main station again and aggressively bothered the police officers. The officers "used simple physical force," it was further reported. The 36-year-old resisted by biting and scratching and injured a police officer with a bite on the hand. Three other officers allegedly sustained scratches.

Following the incident at Karlsruhe Main Station, the authorities decided to expel the man from Baden-Württemberg due to the violent crime committed against a Federal Police officer. Subsequently, the man returned to the Central Station, demonstrating disregard for the expulsion order, leading to further interactions with the Federal Police.
