Following the violent death of a young man, the scene of the body's discovery is being investigated.

Police officers searched the room of the two suspects in a refugee shelter in the Spessart after the violent death of a young man. Officers were also deployed to the suspected crime scene in a forest near Altenbuch (Miltenberg district), a police spokesperson said. However, no relevant evidence for the case was found at the scene.

Investigators believe that a 38-year-old man and his 31-year-old wife are responsible for the death of the 18-year-old. The motive is still unknown. On Saturday, passersby discovered the victim dead on a forest path. The 18-year-old, who had previously been in Lower Saxony, and the suspects are all Afghan.

The violent incident in Altenbuch has been categorized as a crime. Further investigations are needed to establish a clear motive for the young man's death.
