- Affirmative reflections of fresh educational principles in educational institutions.
The educational resources for an initiative to instill principles in Hessian schools have garnered praise, as per Education Minister Armin Schwarz. Last week, educators were handed fresh materials for this task, with Schwarz, a long-time teacher himself, making these remarks in his inaugural address to the Hessian state parliament in Wiesbaden.
This year, these value-promoting materials will be utilized in around 2,100 intensive classes, which cater to over 36,500 refugee and immigrant pupils and students, who are specifically assisted in learning German.
Schwarz, an educator with over 16 years of experience, stated, "Discrimination, bigotry, and extremist Islamic thoughts, alongside seemingly minimal issues such as disregard, are on the increase in our society." Hessian schools serve as the primary venues for fostering values and democratic education.
Schwarz underscored the importance of all students actively engaging with respectful conduct, democratic values, and fundamental rights. Respect, despite divergent perspectives, is a highly prized value.
The educational resources are intended for use in Hessian schools, as mentioned by Education Minister Armin Schwarz. Due to their implementation, these values-focused materials will be utilized in approximately 2,100 classes this academic year.
