In preparation for the upcoming State Election in Brandenburg on September 22, individuals who can't vote in person should submit their application for an absentee ballot promptly. This advice comes from Brandenburg's election chief, Josef Nußbaum, as reported by the Interior Ministry.
You can apply for remote voting directly at your local election office, or alternatively, by mail, email, or even digitally in certain instances. You could also utilize the reverse side of your voter notification card.
Your ballots need to be dispatched so they reach the office by 6:00 PM on election day. If you haven't received your voter notification by September 1, it's advisable to contact your local municipality or city office to verify your registration status.
To ensure your absentee ballot is considered valid in the upcoming Election, make sure to submit it by 6:00 PM on September 22. Despite the Election taking place on September 22, it's important to apply for remote voting as soon as possible.
