Fires - Advent arrangement catches fire - senior citizen's life in danger

An 82-year-old woman from Peine is in mortal danger after an Advent ornament caught fire. On Tuesday evening, the arrangement caught fire in a detached house for as yet unexplained reasons, as the police reported on Wednesday. The resident managed to get the burning objects out of the house and extinguish them. In the process, the woman suffered such severe smoke inhalation that she was taken to hospital in a life-threatening condition.
