Mishap on B73 by Stade: A 13-year-old lad encountered a severe predicament when he was hit by a vehicle on the B73 close to Stade. The youngster ended up with serious injuries, but medical professionals, as communicated by authorities the following day, confirmed that his life was not in imminent danger post-incident. Witnesses who were consistently present at the scene described the kid attempting to cross the federal highway, heading towards Hamburg, around the afternoon hours.
He started to traverse the B73, with traffic headed for Hamburg at a halt. The boy somehow found himself sandwiched between parked vehicles. It appears that he may have overlooked the steadily moving traffic heading towards Cuxhaven, which led to his sudden and unfortunate entry into the roadway, resulting in a collision with a 40-year-old motorist driving along.
