DEL - Adler Mannheim without injured Plachta for two months
Adler Mannheim will have to do without their ice hockey forward Matthias Plachta for the rest of the year. The 32-year-old international is expected to be out for up to eight weeks due to a leg injury, the tenth-placed team in the German Ice Hockey League (DEL) announced on Tuesday. "Of course it's a big blow when you're missing your top scorer for several weeks," said coach Dallas Eakins.
