Adhesive leaked from container: Federal highway 3 closed

Adhesive leaked outside a company premises in Bensheim (Bergstraße district) on Wednesday. According to initial findings, a hazardous goods container had fallen over during unloading, as the police reported. The adhesive spilled onto the roadway and sidewalk. There were no injuries. The Bundesstraße 3 was initially fully closed in the area and later closed on one side.

Traffic in South Hessia was significantly affected on Wednesday due to the closure of Federal highway 3 following an adhesive leak. Despite the accident not resulting in any injuries, the incident led to several traffic accidents in the congested area.
