A powerful storm is approaching. - ADAC performs flood rescue using helicopters
At present, there are eight helicopters busy working, two of them are fitted with rescue winches. Soon, more winch-equipped helicopters from the northern region will be arriving. Oesterle shared, "We're planning to shift more winched helicopters to Bavaria." The experienced crews, who have previously aided in the Ahr Valley, will be deployed as well. ADAC has also decided to establish an emergency facility in the flooded area. All the tasks will be directed through the control centers.
