ADAC issues warning about heavy traffic during the prolonged Corpus Christi weekend.

The busiest time for travelers is predicted to be on Saturday by ADAC. Traffic congestion is likely to occur particularly in the southern areas heading north. Holidaymakers returning from the Corpus Christi short vacation are anticipated to cause the highest traffic levels on Sunday afternoon.

Affected areas are expected to be the highways in Southern Germany and metropolitan regions, including those near Stuttgart, Cologne, Frankfurt am Main, and Munich, as well as the roads leading to the North and Baltic Seas.

Lengthy traffic snarls are also predicted on popular tourist routes overseas, such as the Brenner, Inntal, Tauern, and Rhine motorways, as well as on the Gotthard route and the roads from the Croatian coast to Germany.
