"Whether on screen, on stage or on television - Senta Berger has been touching audiences for decades," the jury said in its statement. "Her incomparable charisma has made her one of the most outstanding personalities in the entertainment industry."

Berger is known for TV series such as "Die schnelle Gerdi" and films such as "Willkommen bei den Hartmanns". The 82-year-old has always defied clichés and also had the courage to initiate and endure social debates, the media group emphasized. The Bambi, which has been awarded since 1948, is one of the most important media and television awards in Germany. After a three-year break, the award is expected to be presented in twelve categories. The gala on Thursday in Munich will be broadcast live on Sat.1 from 8.15 pm.

People worldwide will eagerly tune into television on Thursday to witness Senta Berger receive her Bambi Award for her impressive life's work in the entertainment industry. Various media outlets have praised her versatility, acting skills, and pioneering spirit in movies and on television, highlighting her significant contributions to the medium.
