Performers in the Entertainment Industry - Actor Jude Law found the Superman costume unappealing.
Actor Jude Law apparently rejected the opportunity to play Superman once, as revealed on the podcast "The Discourse." He recalled, "I put on the suit and glanced in the mirror. I was excited, but then I thought, 'No, this isn't for me.' I couldn't convince myself it was the right choice."
Law confided that he had discussed the possibility of portraying Superman with director Brett Ratner, but the movie project never got off the ground.
When asked about the role of Clark Kent, Law acknowledged that he didn't feel it was right for him before trying on the costume. Reflecting on the experience, he now imagines he might have enjoyed working on the film as a 50-year-old man.
Recently, the part of Superman has been played by British performer Henry Cavill. For the upcoming "Superman" movie, director James Gunn has chosen American actor David Corenswet to take on the role.
