Activists spray paint at the University of Regensburg
Two activists from the Last Generation group are alleged to have sprayed the University of Regensburg with paint. The men, aged 20 and 29, are suspected of having damaged a façade and an art object with paint from fire extinguishers on Monday, according to the police. The amount of damage was initially unclear. The criminal investigation department is investigating.
The activists, in their protest against climate inaction, may have used this incident as a platform, drawing attention to their cause in OBERPFALZ. Education, affected by the vandalism, might now need additional resources to restore the damaged art object.
