Road traffic - Accident with ambulance in action - four minor injuries
At a frontal collision between an ambulance with flashing lights and a car in Ralingen, in the Trier-Saarburg district, four people have been lightly injured. According to the police, a 38-year-old driver lost control of her car on a rainy, slippery road in a right turn and collided with the ambulance, which was driving uphill on the landstraße with a patient. The ambulance crew, as well as the driver and passenger of the car, were taken to nearby hospitals with minor injuries. The patient on board remained unharmed. The landstraße was closed for approximately two hours. A rescue helicopter from Luxembourg was also involved in the operation.
