Lörrach - Accident involving ten vehicles: six injured
Six people have been slightly injured in an accident on a slippery road in Lörrach. A total of ten vehicles were involved in the accident over a distance of around 170 meters, said a police spokesman. It must have been like a chain reaction - but it is not yet clear exactly what happened, he said. Only the extent of the accidents is known: Eight vehicles had to be towed away, and the crash barrier was damaged in nine places. The six injured people were taken to hospital. The damage to property is estimated to be in the low six-figure range.

The slippery winter conditions in Lörrach might have contributed to the traffic accident that involved ten vehicles. Due to the accident, nine sections of the crash barrier were damaged and eight vehicles required towing. The local hospitals in Baden-Württemberg received six injured individuals as a result of the accident. The police are currently investigating the cause of the accident to determine if any traffic violations or negligence played a role.
