A 72-year-old female pedestrian died of her serious injuries on Friday - one day after an accident in Beilngries (Eichstätt district). On Thursday afternoon, a 26-year-old driver had stopped at the exit of a traffic circle to let a pedestrian with a baby carriage cross the road, according to police reports on Thursday. He then drove on and overlooked the 72-year-old pedestrian who was crossing the road from the opposite side. The woman was hit head-on by the car and fell.
