Access to the port area partially closed on Wednesday
Due to construction work, the Altenwerder Damm in the Port of Hamburg will be fully closed on Wednesday from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm. This means that access to the port area from the Köhlbrand Bridge will be closed, as announced by Autobahn GmbH on Tuesday. Traffic will be diverted via the Rugenberger Damm.
The closure of the Altenwerder Damm will lead to increased traffic on alternative routes, such as the Rugenberger Damm. This disruption in traffic might affect those planning to use the harbor.
