Police operation - Abandoned suitcase in parking garage triggers police operation

The police evacuated and cordoned off an area in a car park in Braunschweig due to an abandoned suitcase. Regarding the incident in Steinstraße, the police wrote on platform X in the evening: "A abandoned suitcase was discovered in a car park by police officers. Precautionarily, the nearby area was evacuated and cordoned off. Please stay away from the incident site and follow instructions from the response team." Further information about the incident was not available at first.

In response to the incident, authorities identified the car park as being located in the heart of Braunschweig, Lower Saxony. A full-scale police operation was initiated to ensure the safety of the public. During this operation, authorities discovered that the parking garage nearby had been closed temporarily for investigation purposes.
