An empty movie set in the Film Studios Babelsberg went up in flames on a sultry Wednesday. The blaze raged across a 200 square meter section of the roof, as confirmed by the fire department's spokesperson. Despite efforts to contain it, the fire was still burnin' strong in the afternoon, far from being completely snuffed out. The hall itself spans an impressive 40 meters long and a whopping 160 meters wide. Folks nearby got a heads-up via a warning app the moment the inferno ignited. The firefighters charged to the scene with a fleet of 39 firetrucks, according to their reports.
