Emergencies - A8 closed between Karlsruhe and Pforzheim
The Autobahn 8 was closed on Monday morning between the Karlsruhe and Pforzheim Süd junction due to a diesel leak. A truck had presumably leaked fuel due to a technical defect, according to police spokespersons from Karlsruhe and Pforzheim. According to them, the driver had been traveling in the direction of Stuttgart and only noticed the loss after driving a long distance. The diesel then froze on the road. The closure was still ongoing in the early morning. Nobody was initially injured.
