A collision occurred... - A24 was shut down on Tuesday to conduct necessary repairs.
Following a blaze involving three vehicles on the A24 route to the east of Hamburg, roadwork started at around 7:00 am on Tuesday. This section, between Hornbek and Gudow, leading to Berlin has been fully shut down, according to an official police statement. The closure is anticipated to last until 6:00 pm. However, the complete reopening of the lane won't happen until Thursday morning at 7:00 am.
Incidentally, on Friday afternoon, a few kilometers prior to the border between Schleswig-Holstein and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, three trucks hit by fire. It is reported that a man incurred minor injuries during the mishap. The fire's impacts on the road's surface exceeded earlier expectations - hence, the repair work will likely take a longer duration.
