Traffic accidents - A20 near Lübeck fully closed after accidents

After two traffic accidents and a hit and run, the highway 20 near Lübeck was completely closed in the direction of Rostock on Wednesday morning. According to the police, a truck left the road at a construction site during the night or in the early hours of the morning and soiled the road with gravel. The pollution had been reported to the officers by a motorist, and the driver of the lorry had therefore committed a hit-and-run.

Some time later, an articulated lorry left the road at the same construction site and came to a halt on the grass verge. No one was reportedly injured. The highway was initially closed from the Genin junction in the direction of Rostock for the clean-up and recovery work.
