A19 south of Rostock closed during the night
The A19 south of Rostock will be fully closed from Monday evening until Tuesday morning due to construction work. From 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., traffic will be diverted off the highway at the Laage junction, as announced by Autobahn GmbH on Monday. The detour will be via federal and country roads and the Dummerstorf and Glasewitz junctions. The reason for this is the construction of the new bridge at the Laage junction.
There will also be further partial closures. Next Monday, for example, the lane in the direction of Rostock will be closed during the day. On Wednesday next week, the lane in the direction of Berlin will be affected. As with the full closure, traffic will be diverted in each direction.
In August, a temporary steel bridge was erected at the junction. According to earlier information, it will take even longer to complete the actual new replacement construction.
The construction of the new bridge at the Laage junction is causing disruptions, resulting in a full closure of the A19 south of Rostock from Monday evening until Tuesday morning. Additionally, traffic will encounter further partial closures, such as the lane in the direction of Rostock being closed during the day next Monday.
