Traffic - A15 near Forst closed until Wednesday after repairs
Drivers need to adjust to obstacles on the A15 near Forst (Landkreis Spree-Neiße). Since Monday, the road towards Berlin has been closed for repair works, as the Autobahn GmbH announced. The closure is expected to be lifted on Wednesday at 8:00 AM. Although the works were completed on Tuesday, the embedded asphalt is cooling down slower.
Moreover, over the weekend, a part of the road between the interchanges Forst and Roggosen on one lane broke down (so-called Blow-up). Besides the high temperature, the age of the road and the applied pressure are decisive factors for such a breakdown. There is no regularity.
Five cars were damaged, according to the spokesperson, when they drove over the damaged spot. Two concrete plates are supposed to be removed and replaced with asphalt. Previously, the rbb reported on the damage.
