Traffic - A15 near Forst closed for repair work

Drivers need to adjust to obstacles on the A15 motorway near Forst (Landkreis Spree-Neiße). Since Monday, the road towards Berlin has been closed for repair works, according to a spokesperson for the Autobahn GmbH. It was decided on Tuesday afternoon whether the road would be reopened again.

Additionally, over the weekend, a section of the road between the interchanges Forst and Roggosen on one lane was broken up (so-called blow-up). According to the spokesperson, besides the high temperature, the age of the road and the applied pressure are decisive factors for such a break-up. There is no regularity to this.

Five cars were damaged, according to the spokesperson, when they drove over the damaged area. Two concrete plates are supposed to be removed and replaced with asphalt. Previously, the rbb had reported on the damage.

rbb report

The repair work on the A15 motorway, affecting the route to Berlin, is being carried out in the District of Spree-Neiße, specifically near Forst. The disruption on Brandenburg Roadway is causing challenges for traffic in the area, requiring drivers to find alternative routes. Once the connection point between Forst and Roggosen is fully repaired, normal traffic flow along the A15 is expected to be restored.
