In Darmstadt, an incident occurred where a police bicycle lane accidentally halted an 8-year-old riding an electric moped on the road. The officers initially spotted the moped due to the absence of an insurance sticker, they revealed on Monday. During the following inspection, they discovered that the driver of the moped was an 8-year-old child.

The police stated that the vehicle lacked both a permit and insurance, making it unsuitable for use in public traffic areas. The youngster was returned to his parents after the event on the previous Friday. These parents now face some serious repercussions, including the possibility of being charged with breaking the compulsory insurance regulation.
