An armed stranger held up a local establishment in Berlin-Wittenau and made off with cash. According to police, a waiter was threatened by a masked man wielding a machete and a pistol just before midnight and forced to hand over the day's earnings.
The 35-year-old complied with the unknown man's demands. The robber then fled in an unknown direction. Police reported that the waiter was unharmed. The amount of money stolen remains unknown.
