A 24-year-old person got hit by a transporter in Mönchengladbach and passed away at the crash site. It happened when he crossed the road during the afternoon on a Tuesday. The 34-year-old driver of the truck was the one who hit him, as per the authorities. An air ambulance was also sent to the scene, yet failed to revive the victim. The investigation into the incident's specifics continues. There was a possibility that the truck driver was under the influence of drugs, leading to a blood sample being drawn from him and his license being seized.
