In Drei Gleichen, part of the Gotha district, a mishap occurred involving a car and a pedestrian on Saturday night. The victim, a 27-year-old man, sustained severe injuries as detailed by the Gotha police. The scenario unfolded with the man supposedly adhering to traffic rules by walking along the roadside, only for him to be accidentally hit by a woman's car. The 22-year-old driver apparantly failed to spot the man, resulting in a minor collision with the passenger-side exterior mirror.

The Gotha police are currently investigating the incident for any potential traffic violations. Additional police officers were needed to manage traffic diversion due to the accident scene.
