"A confirmed tornado is reported in Poolesville, Montgomery County, MD, according to a tweet from the Baltimore-Washington weather service. They urge residents of Gaithersburg, Olney, and Brookeville to seek shelter right away!"

Montgomery County authorities stated that the twister was spotted above Gaithersburg at 7:40 p.m. Eastern Time.
