Collision - A teenager meets a tragic end after being hit by a train at a railroad crossing.

On Monday, authorities reported that a 17-year-old was tragically killed after being struck by a train in Potsdam on Friday afternoon. The incident took place while the teenager was attempting to cross the tracks. It is suspected that the unfortunate incident occurred near a crossing located in the Marquardt area. For now, no evidence suggests any involvement from a third party. Authorities have initiated a death investigation.
