The Flood warnings remained in effect, with authorities urging residents to stay indoors whenever possible.

In the nearby Upper Bavarian community of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm, a firefighter from the German Armed Forces had tragically passed away while assisting in rescue efforts during a previous night's operation.

Despite the ongoing struggles to manage the floodwaters and the loss of life, there was a renewed determination among the emergency responders to continue their efforts, recognizing the crucial role they play in protecting communities during climate-driven disasters.
