A pumping station in the village of Winzer, located in the Deggendorf district near the Danube, has been consumed by a fire. Officials from the Niederbayern police headquarters revealed on Tuesday evening that the fire was caused by an overheated transformer. The cost of the damage is estimated to be around the middle of five figures. The extent of any other consequences arising from the fire is currently unknown.
