- A novice driver builds two accidents in one day

An 18-year-old caused two accidents within a day, resulting in the loss of his driver's license. The police reported that the teenager disregarded the right of way at an intersection in Weidenhahn, Westerwald district, leading to a collision with another vehicle, estimated to have caused €22,000 in damage. Both the young man and the 38-year-old driver sustained minor injuries and were taken to hospitals.

During the investigation, it was discovered that the young man had been involved in another accident in Wallmerod just a few hours earlier, where he had veered off the road for unknown reasons. To assess his fitness to drive, a blood sample was taken, and his driver's license was confiscated.

After confiscating his driver's license, the young man was required to obtain a new one, possibly with restriction, once he passed a re-evaluation test. Upon losing his license, he was unable to legally operate a vehicle until the expiration of the suspension period.
