- A motorist hailing from Thuringia meets with a fatal accident on the A38.
In a fateful road accident on the A38 in the Mansfeld-South Harz region, a 61-year-old driver met his demise. His 42-year-old companion was transported to a healthcare facility, with police in Halle stating his condition to be critical. The pair hailed from the Thuringian Kyffhäuser district. Somehow, in the cover of night, their vehicle veered off the road and crashed into a bridge barrier. Fortunately, no other motorists were caught up in this unfolding incident, which transpired between the Rohnetal rest area and the Allstedt exit, en route to Göttingen.
