A 88-year-old lady got stuck on a loose heap of soil at a building site in the Göppingen region. Bystanders managed to rescue the elderly woman in her car, according to the police on Saturday.
It seems that on Friday night, the lady drove her car into the construction zone in Eislingen/Fils, disregarding a barrier. Not long after, she realized she couldn't proceed any further due to another barrier. Desiring to move on, she turned her vehicle around. In the process, she became trapped in a pile of gravel measuring approximately 1.5 meters in height. As per the authorities, the octogenarian attempted to cross over this hump.
The woman is slated to be issued with a misdemeanor citation, and the transportation department has likewise been notified.
