Weather - A maximum of 22 degrees and some thunderstorms at the start of the week

Clearly cooler weather and little sun is expected for people in Berlin and Brandenburg at the start of the new week. The temperatures are predicted to rise to 19 to 22 degrees Celsius on Monday by the German Weather Service (DWD). In the afternoon, there are localized thunderstorms with gusts of wind up to 60 km/h. Occasionally, heavy rain with water volumes of up to 20 liters per square meter per hour falls.

Nights see the thunderstorms and showers abate. The wind blows weak to moderate. It cools down to approximately 12 degrees. Many clouds obscure the sky on Tuesday. It rains at times. The highest temperatures range from 18 to 20 degrees.

The night leading up to Wednesday remains cloudy to heavily overcast. In some areas, rain falls, which moves eastwards. Temperatures drop to 13 to 11 degrees. Sunshine and foggy clouds alternate on Wednesday. Only a few raindrops fall, otherwise it remains dry. It warms up to 18 to 20 degrees.

On Wednesday, the German Weather Service (DWD) warns of potential thunderstorms in Potsdam, as they were observed in Berlin and Brandenburg earlier. Despite the occasional shower, the city of Berlin experiences improved weather compared to previous days, with temperatures reaching up to 20 degrees Celsius. The DWD also predicts a thunderstorm in Brandenburg, similar to the one experienced in Potsdam, which might be accompanied by strong winds.
