A man lost his life following a gas cylinder explosion.

A person aged over 65 succumbed to injuries in the hospital after a gas cylinder detonated in their house in Spaichingen, Tuttlingen district, on Thursday. The explosion could have been triggered by a mishandling of gas cylinders, according to the public prosecutor's office and police.

A 82-year-old man managed to get out of his burning house on his own despite severe injuries from an explosion in late May. By the time the fire department arrived on the scene, the house was completely ablaze and there was an estimated damage of around 300,000 euros. His body was covered in extensive burns.
