Crime - A lot of property damage with little loot: vandals in Ebersbach
Burglars have caused considerable damage to a hotel in Ebersbach, not far from the Czech border in the border triangle, which is currently not in operation. They broke into the building during the first two weeks of December and stole several boxes of wine from the cellar as well as screens from an office, according to the Görlitz police department on Saturday. They then broke open a security door, 18 rooms and several safes, which they had torn out of the closets. According to the information provided, the damage amounted to around 18,000 euros - with a haul of around 1000 euros.
