In the secondary game Spiel77, a tiny cross at the base of a Hamburg lottery player's ticket has granted them a whopping 2.48 million euro prize. The fortunate individual presented their ticket for the Eurojackpot draw at a lottery outlet in the district of Wandsbek on a recent Friday, as reported by Lotto Hamburg on Monday. Two players across Germany had the matching numbers 0846078 on their ticket for the Spiel77 draw. Besides the ecstatic Hamburg resident, a player from Bavaria also took home 2.48 million euros. This large Spiel77 victory marks the biggest one for a Hamburg player in a long while. The most recent occasion a lottery winner enjoyed a 1.5 million euro windfall was back in 2019.
