Despite the numerous crises, such as the war in Ukraine and the attack on Israel, as well as factors like inflation, high interest rates, and a weakening economy, the DAX managed to achieve a double-digit gain in 2023. Despite these adverse circumstances, the leading German index performed exceptionally well.
