- A fire destroyed a car repair shop in Berlin.

An automotive workshop in the Berlin district of Alt-Hohenschönhausen was largely destroyed by a fire. The fire spread over an area of approximately 150 square meters during the night on Monday, causing several small explosions, as a spokesperson for the fire department reported. The building in an industrial area was largely burned out, the roof completely collapsed, and several cars were burned. Before the workshop, rescue workers found a lightly injured person who was taken to the hospital. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage were initially unclear.

The affected workshop was located within its surrounding neighborhood, causing concerns for the safety of nearby residents. To prevent further damage, the fire department advised nearby businesses in the neighborhood to stay vigilant and ensure their fire safety measures were up-to-date.
