Region of Hanover - A cyclist using a pedelec was severely injured in a collision.
A cyclist using a Pedelec (an electric-assisted bicycle) suffered severe injuries when he was struck by a truck in Seelze near Hannover. Investigations by the authorities suggest that the 54-year-old man was attempting to pass the truck on a car park. As the driver moved the vehicle, he accidentally hit the cyclist with the side mirror. The rider fell and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. The police are currently searching for any witnesses who could have seen the incident on Friday.
