A fund from the Cultural Emergency Response Alliance will be used by the Cultural Foundation of the States to help save cultural objects from the ongoing floods in Germany. This initiative aims to aid in the recovery, first aid, preservation, and restoration of culturally significant items, announced in Berlin on a Wednesday. This aid is specifically for non-profit and publicly accessible cultural organizations. The funds can cover expenses up to 5,000 euros.

Since its formation in 2021, the Cultural Emergency Response Alliance has been comprised of ministries, authorities, foundations, associations, and other organizations. These partners believe that it's crucial to fight the threat of art and cultural assets being destroyed during crises and disasters through collaboration. To achieve this, they must supply financial, material, and personnel resources to support cultural institutions in crisis and increase their awareness of these issues.

The Cultural Foundation of the States advocates for cultural initiatives and projects across Deutschland, which play a major role in Germany as a whole. These endeavors involve cooperation with various partners.
